Consultation Process
We realize scheduling a cosmetic procedure from out of town requires a bit more logistical planning. We strive to make the entire process as easy as possible for you, starting with your initial consultation.
In-Person Consultation
If you’re going to be in Toronto for any reason prior to when you want to have your procedure performed, we recommend coming to our clinic for an in-person consultation. You’ll be able to sit down with our professional patient consultant, get in-depth information about the procedure(s) you want, and have all your questions answered.
If you’re unable to make more than one trip to Toronto, we can schedule your initial consultation, physical, procedure, and postoperative follow-up all within the duration of your stay. This will prevent your having to travel back and forth between your home and Toronto.
Phone Consultation
We’re also happy to speak with you over the phone, if this is more convenient for you. Feel free to schedule your consultation to get information about your desired procedure, plastic surgery costs (or non-surgical cosmetic procedure costs), and to discuss possible procedure dates that accommodate your busy schedule.
You can also send photos to give the patient consultant a better understanding of your concerns and what you hope to achieve through your desired cosmetic procedure.
Preparing for Your Out of Town Consultation
Before coming in or speaking with us over the phone, we highly recommend taking some time to write down all of your questions. This will ensure you get all the information you need, and will reduce the likelihood of your forgetting anything. It will also help us to provide you with thorough explanations, and address all of your concerns.
Booking Deposit
Once we’ve determined that you’re a good candidate for your desired procedure, we’ll ask that you submit a deposit to hold your place on our booking calendar. You may pay your deposit by any major credit card, a certified check, or cash.
If we perform a phone consultation with you, and you decide to move forward with your procedure at that time, we’ll be happy to take your credit card information over the phone.
Care Instructions Package
Once your procedure has been booked, we’ll send you a package that contains instructions on how to prepare for your surgery, and for post-operative care to help your recovery go as smoothly as possible.

Your Out of Town Procedure
Post-Surgical Assistance
After your surgery, you’ll stay in our recovery room for a few hours, and then you’ll be able to leave. However, it may still be difficult for you to do things yourself such as drive, or bathe and dress yourself until you’ve had some time to heal. Having someone with you who can help with those activities will make recovery much easier on you, and reduce the risk of you hurting yourself, or damaging incision sites, which would require medical attention.
Professional Caregiver or Nurse
If a friend or loved one isn’t able to travel with you, or you just prefer to come alone, we can help arrange a temporary professional caregiver or registered nurse to assist you during your stay. Please be aware, this service will be provided by an outside agency, not our clinic, and you will incur additional costs for this care.
Preparing Your Body for Surgery
Cosmetic surgery is still surgery, and requires appropriate pre- and post-care to ensure your health and wellness are preserved. This is especially true if your procedure requires general anesthesia.

How Long Will I Have to
Stay in Toronto?
The length of your stay will depend on a few factors, most importantly, which procedure you have done. For a more invasive surgery such as a tummy tuck, you’ll need to stay longer than for a non-invasive, short procedure such as a non-surgical nose job.
This table will give you an idea of how long you’ll likely need to stay for some of our most popular procedures. Please note that everyone is different, and you may need to stay a bit longer depending on your unique situation. We’ll go over this with you in your consultation, and before performing your procedure.

Post-Surgical Care
When you’re ready to be discharged, we’ll schedule a postoperative consultation to take place a day or so after your surgery. We’ll also give you the emergency contact number of the doctor who performed your surgery just in case you should experience any negative side effects or complications.
The best way to make your recovery go as smoothly and quickly as possible is to carefully follow all the postoperative instructions provided in your surgical care package.

You’ll easily find our clinic just a few lights north of the Yonge Street exit off of Highway 401. Ample parking is available just outside our door, either in a private metered lot or on the street, which is city parking.
If you’re traveling by subway, you’ll want to get off at Finch subway station, the last stop on the Yonge subway line. You’ll find us about a ten-minute walk south of Finch, on the west side of Yonge Street.
In addition, a 24-hour bus route operates just outside our front door.
