The duration of each phase in the SkinTx SKIN TREATMENT SYSTEM™ is determined by the customized treatment system your doctor prescribes.

Phase One: “Skin Rescue”

The SkinTx SKIN TREATMENT SYSTEM™ relieves your skin from its damaged top layer. This is achieved by instructing your skin to generate healthier cells. This process may be accompanied by:

• Dryness, peeling, and / or redness
• Increased sensitivity, itching, or burning
• Temporary worsening of acne and /or wrinkles

These reactions are the skin’s natural response to the treatment and are a sign that “Skin Rescue” is in progress. This phase should last approximately 6 weeks. Report any extraordinary discomfort, pain, redness, hives, or oozing to your physician or skin care specialist.

Phase Two: “Skin Rejuvenation”

Phase two focuses on allowing your skin to renew itself. Throughout this phase, your skin builds a tolerance to the treatment and improvements in your skin’s texture and tone become visible. Most importantly, the program now increases the production of collagen and elastin, helping to diminish wrinkles and pore size. As your skin rejuvenates, you can expect the following to occur within 6 – 24 weeks:

• Lightening of hyperpigmented areas
• Reduction of wrinkles
• Moisture returns and remains in the skin
• Skin feels firmer and smoother
• Reactions experienced in phase one subside

Phase Three: “Skin Radiance”

This final phase signals a new beginning as your skin has been restored to its natural glow. Surface problems have been corrected and your skin appears radiant. You can expect:

• Even pigmentation
• Smooth and firm skin
• Improved elasticity
• Reduced pore size
• Increased tolerance to external factors

Foaming Gel

As Step 1 in the SkinTx SKIN TREATMENT SYSTEM™ , the Foaming Gel is for all skin types, even the most sensitive or inflamed skin following laser resurfacing, microdermabrasion or post chemical peels. This gentle foaming cleanser deep-cleans pores, gently removing impurities, excess oils and makeup, preparing the skin for subsequent steps.

Directions for use: Apply to damp face and neck with moistened fingertips both morning and night. Rinse completely.

Gentle Cleanser

The Gentle Cleanser is especially formulated without oils, alcohol or perfumes for normal and sensitive skin. This luxurious cleaning dislodges impurities without irritating the skin. Soft enough to be used mornings and evenings within the framework of SkinTx SKIN TREATMENT SYSTEM™.

Instructions: Apply to damp face and neck with moistened fingertips both morning and night. Rinse completely.

MicroScrub Cream

The MicroScrub Cream is for normal to sensitive skin. It contains three types of exfoliating beads to remove excess oils and dead skin cells softly and gently without damaging skin pores and capillaries.

Directions for use: Moisten face with warm water. Massage onto damp face and neck. Rinse completely.

MicroScrub Gel

The MicroScrub Gel is for oily to acne-prone skin. It contains three types of exfoliating beads to remove excess oils and dead skin cells softly and gently without damaging skin pores and capillaries.

Directions for use: Moisten face with warm water. Massage onto damp face and neck. Rinse completely.

Toner

As Step 2 in the SkinTx SKIN TREATMENT SYSTEM™ , the Toner is for all skin types. It is a gentle and alcohol-free solution enriched with herbals that restores the protective pH balance while priming the skin to benefit from subsequent steps.

Directions for use: After cleansing, apply onto face and neck with a cotton pad both morning and night. Do not rinse off.

Astringent

As Step 2 in the SkinTx SKIN TREATMENT SYSTEM™ , the Astringent is for oily to acne-prone skin. It is a deep-cleaning alcohol-free solution that removes excess dirt and oil and reconditions the skin while priming it for subsequent steps.

Directions for use: After cleansing, apply onto face and neck with a cotton pad both morning and night. Do not rinse off. May also be used throughout the day to refresh skin and reduce oil build-up.

Serum C6* 
(Vitamin C)

Serum C6* is an antioxidant serum that naturally helps clarify the skin around the eye area while neutralizing free radicals. May be kept in refrigerator and applied cool to remove puffiness.

Directions for use: Place a few drops on fingertips and apply morning and night to clean, dry skin. Apply to the area underneath and around the eyes including the crow’s feet area, avoiding contact with the eyes, eyelids and eyebrows.

Eye Cream

The Eye Cream is a soothing moisturizing cream specially formulated for the sensitive eye area.

Directions for use: Apply sparingly around the eyes. Massage lightly.

Dark Circle Eye Treatment

The Dark Circle Eye Treatment safely lightens dark circles around the sensitive eye area.

Directions for use: Massage a small amount into skin under eyes both morning and night.

Retinol SR Eye Treatment

The Retinol SR Eye Treatment consists of gel capsules formulated with Vitamins C, A, K and E to smooth skin around the eyes, even skin tone and improve any redness, sensitivity and blotchiness.

Directions for use: Apply under the eyes once daily at night, avoiding contact with eyes and eyelids. Do not rub in. To open the capsule, twist the tip once or twice and pull gently.

Serum C12* 
(Vitamin C)

Formulated with pure Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid) Serum C12* is Step 3 in the SkinTx SKIN TREATMENT SYSTEM™ . It is a high potency antioxidant serum that lightens skin tone and texture and helps protect against sun damage.

Directions for use: Apply morning and night to clean, dry skin before any makeup or creams on face, neck, chest and backs of hands as desired.

Clarite™
(4% Hydroquinone)

Clarite™ is a core step in the treatment system. Used in Step 4, it is formulated with 4% Hydroquinone to gradually lighten hyperpigmentation of the skin.

Directions for use: Apply a thin layer to affected areas. Use both morning and night. Gradual lightening of the discolored area can be expected in most cases.

Exfoliant

The Exfoliant used in Step 5 (morning) is recommended for normal to dry skin. It is an exfoliating lotion containing Alpha Hydroxy Acids to help in cell turnover and rejuvenation and to aid in the penetration of treatment ingredients.

Directions for use: Apply a thin layer to the skin in the morning.

Exfoliant Forte

The Exfoliant Forte used in Step 5 (morning) is recommended for patients with oily to acne-prone skin. It is an enhanced exfoliating lotion containing Alpha Hydroxy Acids in a unique base to help in cell turnover and rejuvenation and to aid in the penetration of treatment ingredients.

Directions for use: Apply a thin layer to the skin in the morning.

Active™ 
(4% Hydroquinone)

Active™, Step 5 (night) in the SkinTx SKIN TREATMENT SYSTEM™ , is specially formulated for use with the Retinol SR Facial Treatment, Tretinoin or Tazarotene. A prescription is needed for the appropriate level and frequency of these preparations. Regular use promotes correction at the cellular level for even skin color.

Directions for use: Apply a thin layer to affected areas at night.

Retinol SR Facial Treatment

The Retinol SR Facial Treatment, Step 5 (night) in the SkinTx SKIN TREATMENT SYSTEM™ , is formulated with 0.3% encapsulated Retinol in a patented microsponge technology for slow, even release. It is also enriched with antioxidants to stimulate the renewal of healthy skin cells.

Directions for use: Apply a thin layer to skin at night.

Moisturizer

The Moisturizer is an oil-free moisturizing cream enriched with antioxidants to be used as needed to soothe dry skin.

Directions for use: Apply as needed.

Soothing Cream 
(0.5% Hydrocortisone)

The Soothing Cream is formulated with 0.5% Hydrocortisone Acetate and 0.09% Hexamidine Diisethionate to temporarily relieve itching and redness due to minor irritations.

Directions for use: Apply to affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily.

Facial Block

Facial Block, Step 6 (morning), is an oil-free physical block with broad-spectrum UVA / UVB protection.

Directions for use: Apply liberally and evenly to face prior to sun exposure and makeup.

SunBalance™ 
(4% Hydroquinone)

SunBalance™, Step 6 (morning) in the SkinTx SKIN TREATMENT SYSTEM™ , is a skin lightening cream specially formulated with 4% Hydroquinone and sunscreen agents to gradually lighten the skin while providing UVA / UVB protection.

Directions for use: Apply a thin layer to affected areas in the morning.
